Why use a personal travel planner?
People turn to my holiday and travel research service for many different reasons: busy lives, other priorities or not sure how to research smartly are just some. Ultimately, using a personal travel planner will save you time and ensure your travel experience is all that you hoped for.
Having someone build your own itinerary gives you the flexibility to travel the way you want and the freedom to mix the elements of your trip to suit you.
What does the initial consultation involve?
My focus is on personal service and making recommendations based on what's important to you and your family.
All clients will receive a FREE initial consultation, either face-to-face or over the telephone. The purpose is twofold. It helps me to understand your requirements and what you are looking for from your travel experience. You also need to feel confident in my ability to take your brief and deliver the service you'd expect.
How much does your service cost?
Each client's needs are different. If you'' like to me to organise your trip or undertake some research for you, you'll receive written confirmation of the requirements as discussed, together with a personal quote.
What happens if I would like to go ahead?
If you would like me to go ahead with the research and planning of your trip, an Order Confirmation is completed and a 50% deposit is made in advance.
An initial search is performed. From the huge array of options that could be available to you, I'll save you time by selecting at least 2 itineraries for you to consider. These will be presented to you in writing (normally via email). You will receive:

2-3 choices for each element (hotel, car, flight, etc) where possible, based on your criteria

Actual or guideline pricing for each element and these will be the best prices as a result of my search

Links to the websites for all options, for you to explore further

Total guideline pricing for your trip
Please note that all availability will be checked before you receive your itinerary choices.
Can I explore further options?
The discussion over the initial itineraries will usually result in further research to fine-tune your choice. For example, you may decide on more suitable flight times, or that you want longer in a certain city. I'll explore the changes and present you with the final itinerary.
How is the booking made?
Once the final itinerary has been presented, you are free to explore my recommendations at your leisure. All the information and contact details will have been provided, making it easy to go ahead with your own bookings.
